Refunds

1. O verview
At The Modern Invite, we provide digital and personalized products created specifically for each customer.
Because of the nature of these services, refund eligibility is limited once work has started or digital access has been granted.
Please review this policy carefully before placing an order.
2. Customized template orders
Customized template orders may be eligible for a refund only if production has not started, no access has been granted, and no files or invitation access have been delivered.
Once any of these events occurs, the order becomes non-refundable:
• production has started
• access has been granted
• files or invitation access have been delivered
3. Bespoke design orders
Bespoke design orders include fully custom invitation concepts created specifically for your event.
These orders are non-refundable once:
- creative work has started
- design research has begun
- concepts have been created
- revisions have begun
4. Before work starts
If you contact us immediately after purchase and no work has started yet, we may review cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis.
We are not obligated to approve cancellation requests once payment has been made.
5. Technical issues
If a technical problem prevents normal access or use of your invitation, we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.
Where appropriate, we may offer:
- correction of the issue
- replacement access
- alternative delivery solution
- partial or full refund at our discretion when no reasonable solution is possible
6. Customer responsibility
Refunds will not be issued for issues caused by customer-provided content, including:
- spelling mistakes in submitted text
- incorrect dates or details provided by the customer
- low-quality uploaded images
- missing information
- delays in responses
- change of mind after approval
Customers are responsible for reviewing all submitted information carefully.
7. Revisions are not refunds
Included revisions are part of the purchased service and must be used to request adjustments where applicable.
A request for changes does not create a right to a refund
8. Customer inactivity
If a customer stops responding or fails to provide required content:
- the project may be placed on hold after 30 days
- the project may be closed after 90 days
Inactive or closed projects are non-refundable.
9. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you experience any issue with your order, please contact us first at hello@themoderninvite.com before opening a payment dispute.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may be contested with supporting evidence, including order details, submitted forms, communications, and delivery records.
10. Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any mandatory rights that may apply under applicable consumer protection laws.
